Beschreibung

Offenstallhaltung in kleiner, harmonischer Stallgemeinschaft

Wir bieten einen Offenstallplatz mit großem, befestigtem Auslauf, der in den Wintermonaten mit Kunstrasen ausgestattet ist und als kleine Winterweide dient. Im Preis enthalten sind Heu und Futterstroh. Die Pferde leben ganzjährig in einer stabilen Herde. Das nahezu ganzjährig zur Verfügung stehende Heu in den Heuraufen stammt aus eigener Grünlandbewirtschaftung und überzeugt durch sehr gute Qualität. Von etwa Mai bis Herbst befinden sich die Pferde rund um die Uhr auf den Sommerweiden, die ca. 300 m vom Hof entfernt liegen. Die Shetlandponys werden nicht 24 Stunden auf Gras gehalten, sondern nutzen ein separates Paddock – Platz für Shettys ist vorhanden. Auf den Sommerweiden steht den Pferden jederzeit ein großzügiger Funktionsbereich mit Weidezelt, Unterstand, Bäumen, Tränkewannen, Leckschale und Schubberbaum zur Verfügung. Dieser Bereich animiert die Pferde zu regelmäßiger Bewegung. Von dort aus werden nach und nach weitere Weideflächen geöffnet. Insgesamt stehen den Pferden ca. 55.000 m² eingezäunte Fläche mit Stromlitze zur Verfügung. Zur Eingewöhnung neuer Pferde bieten wir ein separates, direkt angrenzendes Weidestück an. Dort bleiben Neuankömmlinge etwa 1–2 Wochen, bevor sie in die bestehende Herde integriert werden. Direkt am Stall befindet sich ein Sandplatz zum Reiten, Longieren und für Bodenarbeit. Zusätzlich gibt es einen kleinen Bewegungsplatz direkt an den Weiden. In Mechernich-Eicks laden kilometerlange Wald- und Feldwege zu ausgedehnten Ausritten ein. Das Gelände ist auch für Barhufer bestens geeignet und bietet eine schöne Aussicht, bei der man den Alltag schnell hinter sich lassen kann. Am Hof sowie direkt an den Weiden stehen Parkplätze und Anbindebalken zur Verfügung. Wir sind eine kleine, freundliche Stallgemeinschaft, offen für alle Reitweisen. Auch Pferde, die nicht (mehr) geritten werden, sind bei uns herzlich willkommen und dürfen hier ein dauerhaftes Zuhause finden. Wir freuen uns über freundliche Pferd-Mensch-Paare, die einen langfristigen Platz suchen. Am besten passen zu uns Pferde mit höherem Energiebedarf bzw. schwerfuttrige Pferde, die Herdenhaltung kennen. Die Pferde sollten hinten unbeschlagen sein – idealerweise barhuf. Schwere Kaltblüter können wir leider nicht aufnehmen. Hunde sind angeleint erlaubt. Es sind keine Stalldienste zu leisten. Die Pferde werden zweimal jährlich entwurmt.
