Seit 2002 führen wir als Familie unsere Pferdepension, bieten Jungpferdeaufzucht und Nachwuchs aus unserer kleinen aber feinen American QH Zucht. Wir sind Mitglied im AQHA und DQHA.
Unser anerkannter Biobetrieb liegt idyllisch, alleine auf sonniger und sehr ruhiger Anhöhe mit herrlicher Aussicht, umgeben von Wiesen, Koppeln und angrenzendem Wald. Kein Durchgangsverkehr. Kein Schulbetrieb. Schönes Ausreitgelände ab Hof in sehr reizvoller, waldreicher und sanfter Hügellandschaft. Bei weiteren Touren auch Zugang zum Bach.
Leiter der Pferdepension, Herbert Wimmer, ist staatlich geprüfter Landwirt, BRFV- anerkannter Pferdewart mit Fortbildung zur Jungpferdaufzucht und mittlerweile mit über 24 Jahre Pferderfahrung. Wir leben, wohnen und arbeiten hier im Vollerwerwerb, d.h. wir sind auch tagsüber vor Ort, am Stall.

- Vollpension
- sanfte, schrittweise Eingewöhnung
- geschlechtergetrennte Haltung, jeweils bis 10/11 Pferde, ideale Größe für Pferdefreundschaften
- sehr großzügiger, luftiger, heller Stall mit 3-4 Ausgänge
- 24/7 Heu in weit überdachten (Pferderücken unter Dach) Heuraufen mit Netz, auch während der Weidesaison um den Rohfasserbedarf zu decken. Eigene ökologische, kontrollierte Erzeugung von Heu, Stroh, Miskantus und Futtergetreide.
- große Liegefläche auf Waldboden/ Miskantus plus EM (Effektive Mikroorganismen) (auf Bild noch Stroh), Der tolle, sehr geruchsarme Waldboden wird 1-2x täglich (ausser sonntags) abgeäppelt, wöchentlich gepflegt und nachgestreut. 1 x im Jahr komplett erneuert.
- sehr großzügiger befestigter Sandauslauf, um den Fressbereich sind zusätzlich Ridconplatten verlegt
- mehrere, frostsichere Tränkebecken
- innerhalb den Offenställen integrierbare Eingewöhnungsboxen
- 2 zusätzliche Krankennotboxen, diese sind auch dafür da um dein Pferd vor /nachzubereiten
- angrenzende, riesige Weiden im Wechsel bieten sehr viel Platz zum Rennen, Toben... und Fressen ;)
- auch während der Weisesaison stets freier Zugang zu den Tränken im Stall bzw. Tränke (frisches, fließendes Wasser) auf der Weide
- Weidesaison: ca. mitte April bis November, langsames Anweiden.
- bei intensivem, langanhaltenden Regen werden die Weiden zum Schutz der wertvollen Grasnarbe kurfristig geschlossen
- die Pferde können wählen zwischen Stall, Auslauf und Weide (nur während der Weidesaison), in der Wintersaison dann ohne Weide, aber auf sehr großen befestigten Sandauslauf.
- in den heißen Sommermonaten bleiben die Weiden auch über Nacht geöffnet.
Der Start in das neue Zuhause:
Dein Pferd kommt die ersten 1-2 Wochen in die Eingewöhnungsbox direkt neben dem Offenstall. Es erhält zudem eine eigene Koppel die direkt der Herde angrenzt, somit können sie sich schon mal im Stall und auf der Koppel kennenlernen. Je nachdem wie das neue Pferd Kontakt sucht, gliedern wir es der Herde ein. Wir gehen auf das Pferd/Absetzer individuell ein und wir lassen ihm Zeit sich in die Herde einzufinden. D. h., es kann die Eingewöhnungsbox auch weiter als Rückzugsort für die Nacht beanspruchen. Erfahrungsgemäß dauert die sanfte Eingewöhnung höchstens 14 Tage, bei Bedarf auch länger. Wir orientieren uns nach dem Pferd und sprechen uns mit dem Besitzer ab.
Anmerkung: Wir führen seit Frühjahr 22 nur noch Offenstall/Laufstall, keine Boxen mehr. 1-2 Notboxen stehen weiterhin stets zur Verfügung. Zudem bieten wir Gastboxen (außerhalb des Offenstall) für Urlaub mit eigenem Pferd oder für Wanderreiter an. Die Gastpferde haben Sichtkontakt zu den Einstallpferden, haben keinen direkten Kontakt zu ihnen, auch nicht auf der Koppel.

- wunderschönes, waldreiches Ausreitgelände ab Hof in der reizvollen, idyllischen Gegend unserer Gemeinde Stubenberg. Kurze, längere und sehr lange Touren möglich, auch mit Zugang zu einem Bach. Wander APP für "Wandern zwischen Rott und Inn", auch für Reiter.

Was uns wichtig ist zum Schutz und Wohle unserer Einstallpferde:
- Pferd darf hinten keinen Eisenbeschlag haben
- Einstall nur mit tierärztlichem Attest, das bestätigt, dass das Pferd keine ansteckenden Krankheiten hat und das es von einem gesunden Stall kommt.
FOHLENAUFZUCHT: Auf Anfrage!
Absetzer/Jungpferde kommen in die geschlechtergetrennte, altersgemischte Herde mit weiteren Jungpferden/ Absetzern und wachsen dort artgerecht auf. Ältere Pferde übernehmen die "Erziehungsarbeit" und die jungen lernen dadurch auf natürlicher Weise ein gesundes Sozialverhalten. Sie haben täglich Kontakt mit Menschen, Vertiefung des Fohlen ABC, tägliche Kraftfutter + Mineralfuttergabe. Liegefläche besteht aus Waldboden + Miskantus im großzügigen, hellen, luftigen Massivstall. An den großen befestigten Sandauslauf grenzen riesige Weiden (in Wechsel) und sorgen für viel Bewegung.

Mutter: Gina Poco for Jesus und Vater: CL Silent Badger, AQHA Champion. Franzi ist ein freundliches, ausgeglichenes Pferdemädl. Es wird ihr das Fohlen ABC geübt und kann Ende des Jahres zum neuen Besitzer wechseln oder zur weiteren Aufzucht mit weiteren Jungpferd in der altergemischten Herde bleiben.
