Beschreibung

Die Pferdepension Jens Röver liegt an der südlichen Stadtgrenze Oldenburgs, etwa 10 Fahrminuten vom Zentrum entfernt am Rand der Siedlung Bümmerstede. Der Hof ist in Familienbesitz und umfasst mehrere Gebäude sowie eine neu gebaute Reithalle (2014). Es gibt fünf Stallkomplexe mit allen Annehmlichkeiten, die ein Stall bieten sollte.

Im Umkreis des Hofs befinden sich, neben zahlreichen Weiden und Anbauflächen für das hofeigene Rauhfutter, weitläufige Ausreitmöglichkeiten in die Marsch sowie in ein nahegelegenes Waldgebiet.

In den diversen Stallkomplexen unseres Hofs leben zurzeit 36 Pferde in Boxen oder Offenställen unterschiedlicher Größe. Neben Großpferden ist auch für Ponys gesorgt. Paddock-Boxen bieten die Möglichkeit auch nachts kleine Ausflüge nach draußen zu unternehmen. Alle Ställe sind lichtdurchflutet und Dank großer Fenster ausreichend mit Frischluft versorgt.

Auf dem Hof befinden sich zurzeit 12 große Offenstallplätze, die von Pferden oder Ponys bewohnt werden können. Vor allem Pferde mit Atemwegsproblemen können von der Freilufthaltung profitieren.

Mehrere Hektar Weideflächen umgeben den Hof und bieten im Sommer wie im Winter ausreichend Platz und Futter für alle Bewohner. Die Weiden sind mit automatischen Tränken ausgestattet. Der tägliche Weidegang wird wahlweise von der Stallbetreuung innerhalb der Woche oder in kleinen Einstellergruppern am Wochenende organisiert.

Im April 2014 wurde die neue Reithalle fertiggestellt. Im oberen Bereich befindet sich eine Galerie, von der man aus direkt in die Halle herunterschauen kann. Stühle und Tische laden hier zum gemütlichen Verweilen ein.

Für den Pferdesport stehen Dressurplatz, Springplatz und Round Pen zur Verfügung. Die Anlagen sind großzügig gestaltet und bieten ausreichend Raum für das tägliche Training.

Natürlich ist auf dem Röver-Hof auch für die Menschen gesorgt: Der Reitertreff - genannt \"Hühnerstall\" - bietet Raum für gesellige Runden.

Für jeden Einsteller steht in der Sattelkammer ein geräumiger Schrank sowie ausreichend Platz für alle Utensilien zur Verfügung. Außerdem gibt es einen kleinen Trockenraum, in dem Decken etc. aufgehängt werden können.

Direkt angrenzend an die Stallanlagen befindet sich ein weitläufiges Ausreitgelände mit Gewässern, Weiden, Wäldern, Brücken und Deichen. Zum größten Teil sind diese Reitwege autofrei.
